Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do:

Position in the Technical Support Center to quote and manage custom retrofits based on requests from customers for their existing equipment in the field. This position will act as a liaison between the customer and Lantech to develop the scope of work of the retrofit, generate the quote, enter the order, and keep the customer updated on the status of the order as it progresses through the departments at Lantech. The position will also need to complete the necessary paperwork for international shipments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Communicate with the customer to understand their needs, provide a quote, enter the order, and keep the customer updated on the status of the retrofit.
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to ensure all costs are included in the retrofit quote.
  • Be the liaison between Lantech and the customer to ensure open communication throughout the process.
  • Collaborate with Service Operations to provide the customer with retrofit installation quotes so the customer is provided a complete quote (design, build, and installation).
  • Travel to the customer's site as needed to obtain complete scope of work on the project. <25% travel

We are looking for someone who:

  • Result-driven, process-oriented, problem solver with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Technical aptitude and ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter with strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  • Able to effectively manage a multiple project workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Focused on customer service
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products with strong skills in MS Excel and WORD
  • Basic CAD software skills - AutoCAD, DraftSight, etc.

Education & Experience:

Associate's degree in science, engineering, or business field. Will consider minimum 5 years equivalent experience (some combination of leadership, customer service, and technical knowledge of Lantech equipment)

Desired Skills:

  • Electrical and/or mechanical knowledge of the Lantech product line
  • 3 years' experience with direct customer interface
  • Project management experience
